How to play

  1. Each round shows you an English word — your job is to spell its Spanish translation by steering the snake.
  2. The next letter you need is highlighted with a red ring; guide the snake's head onto it to add that letter and grow.
  3. Decoy letters are scattered around the grid — eating one costs you a life, and you start with three.
  4. Finish the word to score and move on; the snake speeds up as you go. Avoid biting your own tail — that ends the game.

Questions

Is this Spanish spelling game free?

Yes — it plays in your browser with no sign-up. Sign in only if you want to save the words to your review deck and track your best score.

How do I control the snake?

On a phone, swipe in the direction you want to turn, or tap the on-screen arrow pad. On a computer, use the arrow keys. The snake can't reverse straight back on itself.

Why spell the word letter by letter?

Collecting each letter in order drills Spanish spelling — including accents and ñ — far more deeply than just recognising a word, so it sticks in your memory.

Can I practise one topic?

Yes. Use the theme picker to draw the words from a single category — animals, food, the home and more.
