How to play
- A Spanish market item appears on screen with its emoji. The price plays aloud automatically in Spanish.
- Listen to the spoken price — e.g. 'dos euros cincuenta' — and use the keypad to enter the amount.
- Enter digits the cash-register way: for €1.50 press 1, 5, 0. The display updates as you type.
- Tap ✓ or press Enter to submit. Correct answers score 100 points. Three wrong answers ends the round.
Questions
Which prices are in the Shopping game?
Fifteen everyday items from Spanish markets and shops: fruit, coffee, bread, metro tickets, clothing, books, and more — prices range from 50 céntimos to €35.
How does the cash-register keypad work?
Digits shift in from the right, just like a real cash register. To enter €1.50 press 1, then 5, then 0. The display shows the amount building up.
Do I need to understand Spanish numbers to play?
That's exactly what the game teaches. Start by recognising 'uno/dos/tres euros' and simple céntimos, then work up to compound prices like 'dieciocho euros cincuenta'.
Is there a time limit?
No — Shopping is a relaxed, accuracy-focused game. Take your time to listen carefully and build the correct price on the keypad.
